Flooring Installation Done Right the First Time

LVP, hardwood, tile, and carpet, across whole homes or single rooms around Lake Norman

What new floors change

The First Sunday with New Floors Is the One You Remember

A new floor changes the way a house feels in a way homeowners usually don't expect. The light moves differently across a room. Footsteps sound different. The furniture you've had for a decade suddenly looks like it belongs there. The dog figures it out in about an hour. The floor becomes the thing you stop noticing, which is the highest compliment a floor can earn.

We install LVP, hardwood, tile, and carpet for homeowners across Lake Norman, from full-home resurfaces to single-room swaps. The materials and the look are yours to pick. Our job is the part that makes the pick hold up, which mostly happens before the new material goes down.

Our Process

How a Flooring Project Runs With Us

The biggest variable in a flooring project is what's underneath the old floor. The first call is short and focused on what you have, what you want in its place, and what kind of square footage we're talking about. The on-site visit is where we look at the conditions: subfloor type, height transitions, room flow, and any leveling or repair the install will need.

The proposal that follows includes a written breakdown of what's in your cost, with our profit and overhead listed separately, so you can see what the job costs versus what we make to run it. The number at the bottom is the number. If the install requires significant subfloor repair we'll see in the visit, that's in the original proposal. If something only shows up once the old floor is pulled, we write a change order, explain the cost, and wait for your approval before moving forward.

Common Questions

What Most Clients Ask Before a Flooring Project

How long does a flooring install take?expand_more
A standard single-room install can be done in a few days. A full-home flooring project typically runs one to three weeks, depending on square footage, material, and the condition of the subfloor. We give you a timeline with the proposal so you know what to expect.
Do we need to move all the furniture before you start?expand_more
We talk through that in the on-site visit. For most projects we can move furniture room by room as the install progresses, but heavy or fragile pieces are easier on everyone if they're handled before we get there.
Can we live in the house during the install?expand_more
Yes for most jobs. We work room by room or zone by zone so you've always got access to a kitchen, a bathroom, and somewhere to sleep. Whole-home installs in occupied homes take a little longer for that reason.
What happens if you find subfloor problems we didn't know about?expand_more
If we see significant subfloor repair coming during the on-site visit, that's already in the proposal. If something only shows up once the old floor is pulled, we stop, walk you through the options and cost, and write a change order before moving on it.

Our Process

How We Run a Job, Start to Finish

1 | Plan
We start with a short call about what you want to build, then come out to the property to walk the lot or the existing home. By the end of the visit, we know enough to write a real proposal.
2 | Price
You get a written proposal with every line broken out. Materials, labor, subcontractors, permits, and our profit and overhead are listed separately. The number at the bottom is the total. The only thing that moves it is a change to the scope, and that goes through a change order you approve first.
3 | Build
Crew on time, site clean at the end of every day, steady communication from groundbreak to final walkthrough. After the job closes, we're still the people you call if something needs a look.

Lake Norman Flooring Cost Guide

Two flooring quotes for the same square footage can come in thousands apart. Our cost guide walks through what drives flooring pricing beyond the material you pick, the subfloor conditions that tend to add scope once the old floor is up, and what a quote that hasn't looked underneath is missing.

  • Clear pricing insights for flooring installation, kitchen remodels, and more
  • What drives cost based on material, square footage, and subfloor condition
  • A realistic view of flooring costs in Lake Norman and the surrounding area

What It's Like to Work With Us

"Highly recommend Luke for anything you need done in your home. He built custom closets and kitchen pantry for us and asked a bunch of questions so make sure it was exactly how we wanted it. I gave him my vision and he did above and beyond! Luke also installed LVP flooring and it looks amazing! So happy with all the work that was done!"

Nicole Feller

"We couldn’t be happier with our new bathroom! From the very beginning, Luke Beaudoin was a true professional—kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to what we wanted and made sure every detail was just right. It’s not easy letting someone tear apart a part of your home, but Luke made the whole process smooth and stress-free.

His crew was always on time, respectful of our space, and cleaned up each day like true gentlemen. The quality of the work speaks for itself—our bathroom is now beautiful, functional, and easy for us to get around in (which means a lot at our age!).

We’ve had quite a few remodels over the years, but this was by far the best experience. Luke truly takes pride in his work, and it shows. Thank you, Luke, for treating us and our home with such care!"

James Hopp

"Luke was punctual and communicated during the entire project. We are very happy with the final look of the bathroom."

Melissa T

"I worked with Luke to renovate my entire home. He was a class act. Highly professional and knowledgeable. Great work ethic with attention to detail. He made suggestions where needed. Hard to find professionals like Luke these days."

David L

"Carolina Signature Custom Homes designed and built a wheel chair ramp on my home. It's very sturdy and practical. I never expected to get compliments on a ramp, but I often do. Great job."

Jim Pierce
